This album is intended to show some of the wonderful non-humans i've been lucky enough to have share my life.

For our March break this year, instead of heading south we drove 8 hours to the Charlevoix region of Quebec. About an hour east of Quebec City on the St. Lawrence River. it is an area full of mountains, rolling hills, art galleries. So charming!

DEER LAKE TO ST JOHN'S - with stays at Rocky Harbour in Gros Morne, Grand Falls-Windsor, Twillingate, Port Union and St John's - with visits to Western Brook Pond,Trout River,Bonavista, Elliston,Trinity,Witless Bay,Ferryland,Cape Spear,Signal Hill,etc.

For my daughter's 13th birthday, her grandparents took her on a trip of her choice. She chose to go on safari in Tanzania. They got to see 4 out of the big 5 last June and July 2010.

Waterfalls in Kananaskis,Jasper,Banff and Yoho Parks. Troll Falls is a series of 8 waterfalls in Kananaskis, and it requires a bit of climbing to see them all, but they are the most photogenic waterfalls i've ever seen.

Myself, my wife, my brother and his wife spent two weeks traversing some of the trails once used by the oil sector in past years. Splendid country, yet you have to be wary of possible dangers when so far from civilization.
