Regarding the "NEW" Our Canada, and "the current community site ... going offline" I may not get the opportunity to say thanks to all 42 members of my group, Canada's West for their great photos, blogs and videos. I'll miss it big time; it's been FUN for sure. Babbo

I agree!  I really enjoyed the time I had on here even though it wasn't for very long!!  I do have a blog if any of you want to keep in touch.

Sad day for us, eh? I've been active on this site since July 2009 (an eternity on the web). Oh well, there is absolutely nothing I can do about any of this because I'm just a volunteer. Among other things, I really enjoyed being an administrator for a group - Canada's West. 

Best of luck to you. I have a blogspot too but it's in its 3rd reconstruction:) Maybe sometime I'll actually settle on what I want to do there.
