Our Great Canadian Pancake Recipe Contest

Does your family really flip for your pancakes, waffles or crepes? Then you need to enter our Great Canadian Pancake Recipe Contest, sponsored by Burnbrae Farms (Naturegg). We have tons of amazing prizes from T-fal—professional cookware, frying pans, small appliances—to give away.

How can you win? Let me count the ways: simply by entering, by commenting on a recipe you've tried (which will also help us choose the Top 10), for voting on the Top 10, for being in the Top 10, and for placing 1st, 2nd or 3rd place!

Prizes available include:

1st Prize: a Complete Kitchen Prize from T-fal® valued at $1,500.00 (includes a Professional cookware 10pc set, 26” frypan, 30” frypan, 4 slice toaster, kettle, food processor, breadmaker, deep fryer, raclette)

1 C rolled oats,1c.flour,1 tsp.salba, 1c.buckwheat flour, 1 tsp baking powder,pinch of

salt, 1 tsp olive oil,1 egg ,1 c orange juice, water. My recipee for pancakes

Pancakes

11/2 cups flour, 3 teaspoons baking powder, 1/4 reaspoon salt, 3 tablespoons sugar, 1 egg, 11/2 cups milk, 3 tablespoons butter, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Mix together egg, sugar,salt, vanilla and softened butter then add dry ingred. and milk mix well. If this is a little to thick for your liking you can add a bit more milk for your consistency. Berries can also be added at the end if you wish. I have used this recipe for many years and I like it much better than the mixes from a box.

Hi,

Love the recipes! To be officially entered in the contest, however, you need to enter your recipe as an individual blog post. Simply go to the recipe homepage and in the blog section, click on "Add your entry" then "write an entry" in the new window that pops up. When you 'submit' your recipe, it will immediately appear in the blog section and you're entered!

I am hoping to find a buckwheat pancake recipe that is entered. I have been craving these pankcakes for months now and you can no longer buy the Aunt Jemima buckwheat mix in the stores. I hope someone has one.
