Concession stand food has come a long way from ballpark franks. Sports stadiums are now giving fans something very delicious to chew on while watching their favourite teams in competition.  Toronto’s BMO Field, home of the Toronto FC, has been heralded as having some of the best concession choices in North America. To keep this reputation going strong, food services sat down with 20 season ticket holders to see what concession foods they liked – gone is the Portuguese cornbread sandwich – and what new flavours they could introduce. BMO Field management showed off some of the latest additions at a media luncheon today, and I, stuffed full of sample-sized portions, can confirm BMO Field has some pretty darn good fixings.  First up was Ye Olde Chip Butty.
